This episode focuses on the fourth scenario from the base game of Memoir '44 which is called "Pointe du Hoc".
This battle was not so much a beach assault as a cliff assault, and the scenario reflects this.

I just wish to chime in and congratulate you on a find podcast! I believe listeners will be surprised that a podcast can be devoted solely to Memoir '44. However, I know that there's so much information that can deceminate from this broadcast regarding such a simple, but terrific boardgame.
Great episode. I really enjoyed the except you read about the actual attack from the people who were there. Your historical background adds a lot more backgrond to each battle. Keep up the good work!
