In this episode we take a look at the 7th battle/scenario in the base game "Vassieux Vercors".
This battle took place in a mountainous region of France where the resistance was very active and had a lot of support from the locals. The Germans bombed and then invaded the area but the resistance fought back!
The show of course includes another of the excellent dramas from Jack, and an overview/analysis of the scenario from myself.

Episode 4 - Pointe du Hoc
This episode focuses on the fourth scenario from the base game of Memoir '44 which is called "Pointe du Hoc".
This battle was not so much a beach assault as a cliff assault, and the scenario reflects this.
I use a quote from a book in this episode the book is called and can be brought via Amazon "The Victors: Eisenhower and His Boys: The Men of World War II" by Stephen Ambrose.

Update
Howdy folks. Just a quick note to let you know that the next episode has not been forgotten. I've been so busy on other projects, including removing doors, painting, laying floors and building beds in recent weeks that somethings have had to give and this podcast is one of them.
I have done my research for the next episode but haven't had chance to put things together. Stay subscribed, it is coming...

Episode 3 - Sword Beach
This episode focus' on the third Scenario from the Memoir '44 base game, called Sword Beach.
We take a look at some of the history releated to the allied landings at Sword Beach with material being kindly loaned to the podcast by The D-Day Museum, Portsmouth.
Jack Guritza has come up trumps once again with a splendid dramatisation of game based on Sword Beach.
We've got the usual period-audio inserts, this day in 1944 and an overview of the Sword Beach scenario and my insights into how to play it.
As a bonus for this episode I also review a book I recently finished called "Dunkirk Fight to the Last Man". Here's a Memoir '44 scenario I threw together when inspired by reading this book.
